Término de las Auditorías Externas . Las auditorías externas ordenadas por la Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia no podrán tener una duración mayor a tres (3) meses, contados a partir de la fecha en que el auditor inicie sus labores. No obstante, por solicitud del auditor externo, la Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia podrá prorrogar dicha duración hasta por tres (3) meses adicionales. En ningún caso se podrán ordenar sobre una misma entidad vigilada más de dos (2) auditorías externas en un término de doce (12) meses, contados a partir de la fecha en que inicie la primera auditoría externa.
