La cesión a que se refiere el artículo anterior, se hace con el fin de que los baldíos se destinen al establecimiento de hoteles, posadas y potreros a lo largo de la vía mencionada. Los baldíos cedidos serán administrados por la Junta Administradora de la vía de Barrancabermeja, y no podrán ser enajenados ni destinados a otro fin mientras subsista la necesidad del mantenimiento de las obras expresadas, las cuales se consideraran como de utilidad pública.
