Queda autorizado el Poder Ejecutivo para modificar, de acuerdo con el Concesionario, los artículos 8.º y 12 de este contrato, en el sentido de dejar á toda la vía que se construya, una anchura entre rieles igual á la que tiene hoy la parte construida entre Buenaventura y Córdoba. Para hacer uso de esta autorización el Poder Ejecutivo deberá obtener del Concesionario una rebaja en el precio fijado por el kilómetro en el artículo 7º de acuerdo con lo que crea equitativo por el menor costo de construcción y mayores facilidades que esta reforma implica. Hecha la reforma, no tendrá lugar la garantía de 5 % anual de qué trata el artículo 8º respecto á la parte hoy construida.
