La multa consiste en imponer al infractor el pago de una suma de dinero no menor de cincuenta pesos ni mayor de mil. El pago de la multa se hará al correspondiente Tesorero Municipal. La cuantía de la multa se regulará teniendo en cuenta la capacidad económica del infractor. Al notificarse la resolución, o cuando el multado manifieste que se encuentra en estado de insolvencia, aquélla se convertirá en trabajo, en obras de interés público o en suspensión de permiso o licencia, según el caso.
