Visita de cárcel por el Ministerio Público. El Fiscal General y el Procurador General, por si o por medio de sus agentes, practicarán visitas ordinarias cada mes y extraordinarias cuando las necesidades lo exijan, los establecimientos carcelarios a efecto de vigilar y procurar el cumplimiento de las resoluciones procesales, velar por la legalidad del proceso y el debido respeto a los derechos humanos.
