Cuando el medico de Establecimiento Carcelarios observe que una reclusa este embarazada, lo pondrá al conocimiento del Director para que le tengan las debidas consideraciones. En los días inmediatamente anteriores al parto, al juicio del médico será llevada a la sala especial del Establecimiento, y a falta de tal servicio, se le trasladará al hospital, por el tiempo estrictamente indispensable para dar a luz y poder regresar sin peligro aquel.
