Todo funcionario de carrera podrá solicitar licencia para retirarse temporalmente del servicio en las condiciones establecidas por el Código de Régimen Político y Municipal. El otorgamiento de estas licencias corresponderá a la Secretaría General del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, con aprobación del Ministro.
