Cuando las obligaciones emanadas de lo declarado en una escritura consistan en pensión, renta o cualquier otro tipo de prestación periódica de plazo determinado o determinable con base en el mismo instrumento, los derechos se liquidarán teniendo en cuenta la cuantía total de tales prestaciones. Si el plazo fuere indeterminado, la base de liquidación será el monto de las prestaciones periódicas en cinco años.
