Régimen de garantías . La agencia de aduanas deberá constituir y presentar una garantía bancada o de compañía de seguros. La garantía deberá constituirse por un monto equivalente a: Agencias de aduanas nivel 1, cuarenta y ocho mil trescientos veintinueve (48.329) Unidades de Valor Tributario (UVT). Agencias de aduanas nivel 2, veinticuatro mil ciento sesenta y cuatro (24.164) Unidades de Valor Tributario (UVT). Agencias de aduanas nivel 3 y 4, doce mil ochenta y dos (12.082) Unidades de Valor Tributario (UVT).

Parágrafo

Las agencias de aduanas solo podrán iniciar sus actividades una vez aprobada la garantía por parte de la Unidad Administrativa Especial Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales (DIAN).
