Como regla general, toda carga que se dispare en el mar territorial o en la plataforma continental submarina, deberá estar suspendida a una profundidad no mayor de la mitad de la distancia entre la superficie y el fondo. Cuando la profundidad sea menor de 7.5 metros, la carga deberá enterrarse a 3.0 metros del nivel del fondo, si en concepto del delegado de la autoridad ambiental el disparo abierto afecta la flora y la fauna.
