Cuando la Superintendencia de Sociedades Anónimas comprobare que una compañía ha decretado dividendos no justificados por sus balances o por su contabilidad, ordenará las rectificaciones del caso. Y podrá disponer la suspensión del pago de dichos dividendos y que en los ejercicios siguientes se hagan preferencialmente las compensaciones necesarias para reintegrar el capital o las reservas y fondos de orden legal y estatutario, de acuerdo con las rectificaciones ordenadas.
