ART 300. Las recompensas que se otorguen con motivo de servicios prestados á la causa de la Independencia, sólo favorecen á los militares de que trata el ordinal 1o., del artículo 18 de la ley 50 de 1886 . Respecto de ellos, ó de quienes sus derechos representen, la recompensa se hará efectiva, cualquiera que fuere el tiempo que sirvieron en aquella época.
