Un instrumento es pagadero a su presentación:

1° Cuando se expresa que es pagadero a su presentación o a la vista. o

2° Cuando no se expresa el tiempo para el pago.

Cuando un instrumento se extiende, acepta o endosa después del vencimiento, es, respecto de la persona que lo extiende, acepta o endosa, pagadero a la vista.
