Ni la "visa de tránsito" ni la de turismo podrán ser transformadas en visa ordinaria.

Parágrafo

Aun cuando los turistas o viajeros en tránsito proyecten prolongar su residencia en Colombia están obligados a salir del país a la expiración legal de sus respectivas visas; y para regresar con el ánimo de permanecer indefinidamente, deben solicitar y obtener de uno de los Cónsules de la República una visa ordinaria expedida de acuerdo con las disposiciones del Decreto número 1790 de 1941.
