Las categorías de salario en que deben cotizar los afiliados se fijarán por períodos anuales, con base en la declaración de renta del año inmediatamente anterior. Para el efecto, se tomará como equivalente al salario asegurable la doceava parte de la renta bruta de trabajo declarada.
