"Con sujeción a lo prescrito en esta Ley, la Junta Directiva fijará en los estatutos las fechas y lugares en que deban efectuarse las elecciones anuales, con el método para ello, la remuneración de los directores y la manera de elegir Directores principales y suplentes, cuando durante el respectivo período queden vacantes los puestos de unos u otros, por muerte, renuncia, prolongada ausencia u otra causa."
