Los Agentes del Ministerio Público carecen de la facultad de transigir; no pueden desistir de las acciones intentadas sino a virtud de autorización de la entidad representada, y les es lícito desistir de los recursos interpuestos por ellos.

No pueden tampoco absolver posiciones y sus confesiones no perjudican a la parte que representan.
