Art. 4º. Los empleos del Orden Judicial, remunerados, son de voluntaria aceptación y renuncia para los empleados principales; pero son de aceptación forzosa para los suplentes en general, y para los principales no remunerados, cuando unos ú otros son vecinos del distrito donde deben funcionar.

Se exceptúa de lo dispuesto en el inciso que precede á los suplentes de los Magistrados de la Corte Suprema y de los Tribunales Superiores de Distrito Judicial.
