Artículo segundo . La Comisión que se crea por el artículo anterior, tendrá las siguientes funciones principales

Recibir las denuncias de carácter penal relacionadas con los hechos enunciados en el considerando del presente Decreto;

Estudiar las denuncias que se le presenten y solicitar, si es el caso, al Ministerio de Justicia, el nombramiento de funcionarios instructores necesarios, y

Vigilar y coordinar la labor de los funcionarios instructores que se nombren, de acuerdo con el Ministerio de Justicia.
