Del personal fijado en este Decreto se tomarán los Oficiales, Suboficiales y Agentes necesarios para la formación y funcionamiento del Cuerpo de Policía Rural creado por Decreto 2473 de 1948, y su distribución se hará por la Dirección General de la Policía Nacional para el desempeño de las funciones que le asigna el ordinal 5° del artículo 38 del Decreto-ley 2136 de 1949.
