En la tasación y recaudación del impuesto sobre la renta se establece una exención de cien pesos ($100) mensuales por cada cónyuge, y una de veinte pesos ($ 20) por cada hijo que dependa del contribuyente. También quedan exentos de pagar este impuesto aquellas personas que tengan una renta menor de mil quinientos pesos ($ 1.500) anuales.
