Empresas en funcionamiento . Las empresas que a la fecha de entrada en vigencia del presente decreto cuenten con licencia de funcionamiento vigente, podrán continuar prestando el servicio de transporte autorizado hasta tanto la autoridad de transporte competente decida sobre la solicitud de habilitación, la cual debe ser presentada dentro del término establecido en el artículo 55 de esta disposición. Si la empresa presenta la solicitud de manera extemporánea o la autoridad de transporte competente le niega la habilitación, no podrá continuar prestando servicio.
