ARTICULO 65 . El extranjero que sea objeto de un trámite de deportación o expulsión, podrá ser retenido preventivamente o sometido a vigilancia por las autoridades migratorias, cuando por sus antecedentes o mala conducta, fuere considerado un individuo peligroso o cuando se presuma que intentará eludir su cumplimiento. En caso de ser necesario esta medida se prolongará hasta tanto se resuelvan los recursos de ley.
