Para garantizar la integridad personal y de la familia de los ex Presidentes de la República, la Policía Nacional mantendrán un servicio de seguridad permanente 110 inferior a dos agentes en la respectiva residencia en la oficina en que despachen, y el Departamento Administrativo, de Seguridad designará personal de vigilancia y de escolta, debidamente equipado, para que colabore en la vigilancia, permanente y los acompañe en sus desplazamientos.
