Promoción. Cuando con posterioridad al otorgamiento de la Orden Militar de “San Mateo” en la categoría de segunda o tercera clase, el militar distinguido ha ejecutado una nueva acción de valor que le dé derecho a la categoría siguiente, puede el Presidente de la República, mediante la apreciación de los hechos, decretar la promoción dentro de las formalidades establecidas en el artículo 2.3.1.3.4.1.2., del presente Capítulo.
