Los universitarios no titulados a que se refiere el artículo anterior, serán escalafonados con el grado de Subteniente o su equivalente en la Armada, previa la aprobación de un Curso de Instrucción Militar. El titulo universitario es condición indispensable para ascender al grado inmediatamente superior. Si el Oficial acredita su título universitario, podrá ser ascendido antes de los cuatro (4) años.
