Con destino a la Cárcel Municipal de Barranquilla, la Nación cederá a dicho Municipio, a título gratuito, el terreno y edificio en donde ha venido funcionando la Cárcel Nacional Modelo mencionada en el artículo 1° de esta Ley, a condición de que el citado Municipio proceda a vender los terrenos y edificios de su propiedad en donde actualmente funcionan las Cárceles Municipal y de Mujeres, para construir con el producto de la venta un moderno edificio carcelario femenino.
