1. Contrato de trabajo es aquel por el cual una persona natural se obliga a prestar un servicio personal a otra persona, natural o jurídica, bajo la continuada dependencia o subordinación de la segunda y mediante remuneración. (Aparte subrayado declarado EXEQUIBLE por los cargos examinados, por la Corte Constitucional mediante Sentencia C-397-06 )

2. Quien presta el servicio se denomina trabajador, quien lo recibe y remunera, {empleador}, y la remuneración, cualquiera que sea su forma, salario.
