Investigación Administrativa. En los casos de muerte previstos en los artículos 181, 182 y 183 de este Estatuto, las circunstancias de modo, tiempo y lugar en las cuales se sucedieron los hechos se establecerán mediante la investigación administrativa ordenada por el superior respectivo. El Ministerio de Defensa Nacional queda facultado para modificar la calificación de las circunstancias en que ocurrieron los hechos, cuando estas sean contrarias a las pruebas allegadas.
