Los jueces son responsables de las cosas o cantidades de dinero que se consignen en sus oficinas, con motivo de los juicios en que conozcan. Y al efecto deberán presentar caución suficiente para responder de ellas. La cuantía de esta caución será fijada por el Poder Ejecutivo al reglamentar esta disposición de la Ley.
