Área mínima de excavación minera . El área mínima libre de una excavación minera, en labores de desarrollo, debe ser de tres metros cuadrados (3 m2) con una altura mínima de uno coma ochenta metros (1,80 m).

Parágrafo

El responsable de la aplicación y cumplimiento del presente reglamento debe garantizar que el área de las labores definidas para el transporte sea suficientemente amplia, de tal forma que los equipos utilizados puedan circular sin tocar los respaldos (paredes), ni el techo, para no alterar el sostenimiento en dichas labores.
