Los trabajos de química toxicológica se practicarán por el químico del laboratorio de Bogotá con su Ayudante. Una vez ordenados en cada caso esos trabajos por la autoridad competente, la Oficina Médico Legal del respectivo Departamento solicitará su ejecución de la Oficina Toxicológica de Bogotá, a la cual remitirá las vísceras y demás elementos o datos que sean necesarios para el examen científico.
