El que mediante el empleo de la violencia física o moral, o de maniobras engañosas de cualquier género, impida a un elector ejercer su derecho de sufragio, o lo obligue a ejercerlo a favor de determinado candidato, partido o corriente política, está sujeto a la pena de dos meses a un año de arresto y a la de multa de cincuenta a mil pesos.
