El período de los miembros del Consejo electoral será de cuatro años, que se contará del día 25 de abril del correspondiente año, fecha en la cual se instalará el Consejo en la capital de la Circunscripción Senatorial, a la una de la tarde en el local de la Asamblea, del cual puede pasar a otro que él mismo designe.

El primer período comenzó el 25 de abril de 1915.
