En el caso de que las instituciones que hubieren concurrido a la totalización de períodos de seguro para el otorgamiento de una pensión, hubieren de recuperar alguna suma por efecto de la responsabilidad de un tercero, su valorse distribuirá entre las mencionadas instituciones, a prórrata de la parte que a cada una corresponda en el pago de la pensión.
