Los Oficiales y Suboficiales de la Policía Nacional que presten servicios en zonas donde se desarrollen operaciones especiales para restablecer el orden público, tendrán derecho a una Prima Mensual que se denominará de Orden Público, correspondiente al diez por ciento (10%) del sueldo básico. El Ministerio de Defensa Nacional determinará los lugares y circunstancias en que debe pagarse esta prima.
