La leche en -polvo semidescremada, deberá tener las siguientes caarcterísticas

a)

Físico-químicas : -Humedad: Máximo 4% m/m. -Materia grasa: De 12 g. a 15 g% m/m. -Acidez expresada en ácido láctico 1.2 g. a 1.5 g% m/m. -Indice de solubilidad: Máximo 1.25 c.c. -Impurezas: Máximo 15.0 mg. -Sodio (Na): Máximo 0.50 g% m/m., como constituyente natural. -Potasio (K): Máximo 1.50 g% m/m., como constituyente natural. -Cenizas: Máximo 7.2 g% m/m.

b)

Condiciones especiales : -Puede estar adicionada de: a) Mono y diglicéridos: Máximo 0.25 g% m/m., o b) Lecitina: Máximo 0.5 g% m/m. -Ausencia de sustancias tales como adulterantes, preservativos, sustancias tóxicas y residuos de drogas o medicamentos. Para residuos de plaguicidas se tendrá en cuenta normas oficiales de carácter nacional o en su defecto las normas internacionales PAO, OMS u otras adoptadas por el Ministerio de Salud. CAPITULO V.
