Autorizaciones ambientales para la gestión y manejo externo . El desarrollo de las actividades relacionadas con la gestión y manejo externo de los residuos hospitalarios y similares requiere la autorización ambiental respectiva exigida por la normatividad ambiental vigente. Cuando se pretenda incinerar residuos hospitalarios y similares en hornos productores de cemento, éstos deberán además cumplir con los límites máximos permisibles fijados en las normas ambientales vigentes.
