Cuando un sindicado sea leproso, declarado en virtud de examen médico, debe remitirse a la cárcel de Agua de Dios. Todas las diligencias necesarias en la perfección del sumario y en la secuela de la causa en que haya de intervenir el sindicado, se practicarán por medio del Juez del Circuito de Agua de Dios.
