° Facúltase al Inspector General de cada zona para imponer y someter a la consideración del Ministerio las siguientes multas: desde cincuenta centavos hasta tres pesos, según la gravedad de los perjuicios, al empleado o empleados de las Oficinas Telegráficas, por el manejo defectuoso de conmutadores, por erradas localizaciones de daños, por demora de localización, por tardanza en la citación de los Guardas, y en general, por toda deficiencia en el servicio. Desde cincuenta centavos hasta un peso, al Guarda o Guardas por cuya culpa se prolongue un daño por más de cuatro horas. Podrá también solicitar la destitución, indicando el reemplazo, del Guarda o Guardas que no ofrezcan garantías para el servicio.
