Permiso, vigilancia y control. Toda empresa de transporte fluvial de pasajeros está sujeta al permiso otorgado por la autoridad fluvial correspondiente, así como también a la vigilancia y control permanentes de dicha autoridad para velar por el cumplimiento de las normas sobre navegación fluvial y de las condiciones de seguridad, salubridad e higiene de cada una de las embarcaciones.
