Las palabras sección comercial significan una sección de un banco hipotecario que hace el negocio de recibir fondos de otros en depósito general y de usar de éstos junto con su propio capital, para prestarlos a plazos menores de un año y para comprar o descontar pagarés, giros o letras de cambio a término menor de un año.
