ARTICULO 85. El Instituto Nacional de Transporte y Tránsito es la autoridad competente para sancionar, con sujeción a los procedimientos señalados en el presente estatuto, a las empresas de transporte público terrestre automotor de pasajeros y mixto por carretera, a los prestatarios de servicio de transporte turístico y a las personas naturales y jurídicas, que incurran en alguna de las faltas establecidas en este Decreto.
