Igualmente será función del Fondo la celebración de acuerdos con personas o entidades públicas o privadas de otros países o entidades internacionales, para fomentar el intercambio comercial y abrir créditos destinados a financiarlo, los cuales estarán sometidos a la aprobación del Consejo Directivo de Comercio Exterior. Asimismo, podrán convenirse para la ejecución de esta clase de acuerdos modalidades especiales de pago, las cuales deberán ser autorizadas por la Junta Monetaria previo concepto del Instituto Colombiano de Comercio Exterior.
