Para ser notario en los círculos de tercera categoría, además de las calidades generales, se requiere en alternativamente: 1º Ser abogado titulado 2º No siendo abogado, haber sido notario por tiempo no inferior de 2 años; o haber completado la enseñanza segundaria o normalista y tenido experiencia judicial, notarial o registral por espacio de tres años; o tener experiencia judicial, notarial o registral por termino no menor de cinco años.
