Es deber del médico asistir, sin cobrar honorarios, al colega, su esposa y los parientes en primer grado de consanguinidad que dependan económicamente de él, salvo en los casos en que estén amparados por un seguro de salud y en el de los tratamientos psicoanalíticos.
