Retiro absoluto. Los Oficiales y Suboficiales de la Policía Nacional serán retirados en forma absoluta del servicio, cuando les sobreviniere incapacidad absoluta y permanente o gran invalidez; de acuerdo con el concepto que emita la Sanidad de la Policía Nacional con base en el Reglamento correspondiente, o cuando cumplieren sesenta y cinco (65) años los Oficiales y cincuenta y cinco (55) los Suboficiales, edad en que cesa toda obligación policial.
