La rebaja de pena para los reos de delitos que no tengan caracteres de atrocidad, se regirán en cuanto al procedimiento, por los mismos trámites hoy vigentes.
A efecto de que las rebajas se concedan dentro de la oportunidad legal correspondiente, el reo las solicitará con seis meses de anticipación a la fecha en que cumpla la pena que le corresponda, según la sentencia, más el tiempo a que asciendan las respectivas rebajas legales.
