El Ministerio del Medio Ambiente podrá encomendar a las entidades del SINA la práctica de diligecias para el ejercicio de las atribuciones de policía de que trata el artículo 83 de la Ley 99 de 1993, con base en las cuales impondrá las sanciones a que haya lugar. El Inderena continuará ejerciendo las medidas preventivas e imponiendo las sanciones del caso, de acuerdo con lo dispuesto en el Título VIII de la Ley 99 de 1993, hasta cuando las corporaciones asuman estas competencias.
