Denomínase Médico Veterinario Inspector todo médico veterinario titulado, debidamente autorizado por el Ministerio de Salud o las entidades delegadas para llevar a cabo las diligencias de inspección sanitaria de los animales de consumo humano y supervisar los mataderos y sus operaciones o procesos desde el punto de vista técnico y sanitario.
